9/22 Rehearsal

Here are some pictures of our first rehearsal! We were so impressed with how quickly the singers picked up on everything!

We learned two new warm-ups (Lip-Rolls, which tickled our noses & "Mommy Made Me Mash My M&Ms, which really got our mouths moving!)

We then got right into our new songs. "Dona Nobis Pacem" introduced a beautiful melody and the Latin phrase which means "Grant us peace."

Next, we worked on "Sing, Sing a Song." For this number, we will be singing and SIGNING at the same time. It was unbelievable how quickly the singers learned the first verse in ASL.

Overall, we had such a fun time. Can't wait to see everyone this Thursday!

A Great Start

We were so thrilled with our first rehearsal on Thursday. After months of planning and years of dreaming, it was a real treat to look out over so many sweet, smiling faces. It was even better to hear them sing, watch them learn so quickly and envision what good things we will be able to do together each week and as we perform in the community!
