"Bring a Friend" Day (11/17) and Spring Arbor Performance (12/10)

This post is way overdue, but we had SOOO much fun on our "Bring a Friend" day on November 11th.  The singers really enjoyed showing their friends and neighbors all of our usual activities, especially our "Gina Lollabrigida" warm-up!  The visitors jumped right in and sang along with everything we did.

After warming up and playing some fun "echo" games, we performed a few of our numbers for the visitors.  They got a chance to tell us things that we were doing well, along with things that we could improve upon.  We got some great feedback from the visitors, and Brittany and Katie think that it really helped the singers to hear what kids their age had to say.  Overall, the "Bring a Friend" day was a big success and we hope to be able to do it every session!

Our first performance of the season was on December 10 at Spring Arbor Assisted Living Center.  The residents we so kind to us, and really enjoyed hearing the kids sing.  We could even hear them singing along with us on some of our songs, which was great!  The singers did a wonderful job, especially for being in front of a "real" audience for the first time.  Afterwards, the activities coordinator at Spring Arbor treated the kids to cookies and punch, which ended the afternoon on a sweet note!
